National Advisory Board
The mission of the National Advisory Board (NAB) of Epsilon Gamma Iota., Inc. is to serve and assist our membership of Epsilon Gamma Iota Incorporated by equipping and empowering the engineering community with professional training and knowledge of technical matters relating to engineering, engineering technology and computer science. The National Advisory Board’s goal is to foster an inclusive environment of community service and academic enrichment for breakthroughs in scientific disciplines by focusing on education, national programs and services in accordance with the purpose of the Fraternity and the Family.
The National Advisory Board holds a 2 year term. These are the current 2024-2026 NAB members.

Sitrina Davis is a highly motivated Process Engineer who lives by the maxim of “Commit Big … Deliver More”! She attained her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University of Prairie View, Texas in 1995, after which she launched her 26+ years of diverse work experience across Petrochemicals, LNG, and Refining. Sitrina possesses a successful track record of excellence in supporting plant operations by delivering safe, reliable, and compliant design solutions that lead to reduced downtime and increased operational efficiency. Sitrina’s Engineering & operations strength resides in providing process safety expertise to projects and operations, including hazard assessments, plant production, troubleshooting & optimization as well as process design of flare and relief systems.
Outside of her profession, Sitrina is actively involved in the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion efforts to support institutions as they create “safe spaces” for less privileged and marginalized people of color that will allow them to bring their “whole” self to work and receive what is needed to achieve adequate career development and equal access to career advancement opportunities. She is the 1st National Vice of Epsilon Gamma Iota, Inc., a social and service organization that promotes academic excellence for STEM and Architecture majors and professionals, a Corporate Advisory Board member for the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), a member of the Top Ladies of Distinction and the co-founded of The Uprising of a Young Queen. The latter is an organization that facilitates on-location workshops and day camps to provide a teachable environment for young girls to discover their love of self, family, and community.
As a Houston, Texas native, Sitrina's one goal in life is to ultimately leave an imprint of effective contributions within her profession and community where her children and their children can easily emulate her mantra of “Commit Big ... Deliver More”!

Brandon Martin, born and raised in Dallas, TX (currently living in Tulsa, OK), is a dedicated leader and experienced Solutions Engineering Consultant who is returning as the National Executive Board Secretary for the 2024-2026 term. With a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University, Brandon brings a wealth of expertise in strategic project management, technical development, and financial oversight. As Co-Founder and COO of Lumanis, he leads initiatives in sustainable technologies, financial modeling, and business development. Previously, Brandon worked as a Solutions Engineer at Deloitte, where he spearheaded AI-driven improvements and managed key projects in the tech and healthcare sectors.
In addition to his professional achievements, Brandon has a strong background in community service and fraternity leadership, having served as Community Service and Membership Chairman as an undergraduate member of the Alpha chapter of Epsilon Gamma Iota Inc. He also served three terms as Financial Secretary and Fundraising Chair for the Epsilon Tau Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., where he helped raise significant funds for scholarships. His innovative thinking is also reflected in his research work, where he applied machine learning principles to predict NBA player performance. Brandon’s dedication to the success of Epsilon Gamma Iota, Inc. and his commitment to service and scholarship make him a valuable asset to the fraternity’s leadership.
Born February 27, 1973, I was raised as the only son of Henry and Willie Mae Bacon in Natchez. Ms. Graduated from Natchez High School in the top 10% of my class in 1991… A week later, I left to attend Prairie View A&M University to study Electrical Engineering. While at PV, I joined Epsilon Gamma Iota, Inc. in 1992 and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. in 1994. I graduated in 1996 with a BS in Electrical Engineering. I have worked in the IT and Multimedia Field for over 25 years. I currently work as a Field Service Technician for HP at JP Morgan Chase and am the owner of Emporium House, a multimedia company. As your 2024-26 National Treasurer, this is my 5th time serving on the NAB, I look forward to helping L.E.A.D. our organization for the next 40 years.
DaKira Taylor is a multifaceted professional with a deep-rooted passion for social media, digital marketing, and brand development. She is the former founder of byREDD Beauty and byREDD Wholesale, where she created skincare products celebrated for their quality and effectiveness. Through these brands, DaKira built a strong online presence and connected with a diverse audience worldwide, demonstrating her ability to craft engaging digital experiences and drive impactful marketing campaigns.
A graduate of Roy G. Perry College of Engineering at Prairie View A&M University with a B.S. in Computer Science, DaKira’s time at Prairie View not only equipped her with technical expertise but also introduced her to the Epsilon Gamma Iota, Inc., which has profoundly influenced her journey. This experience laid the foundation for her entrepreneurial spirit and guided her decision-making in both industry and business.
In addition to her entrepreneurial ventures, DaKira brings extensive experience in consulting and cybersecurity risk management. Her consulting background spans various industries, where she has delivered tailored solutions to optimize operations, strengthen client relationships, and enhance brand visibility. Currently, she applies her cybersecurity expertise to help organizations identify and mitigate risk, ensuring the protection of valuable digital assets in an increasingly connected world.
DaKira’s unique blend of business acumen, digital creativity, and cybersecurity insight positions her as a leader equipped to build community, engage audiences, and support organizational growth across multiple platforms.
John Sanders is a Texas native whose journey is driven by a passion for architecture, leadership, and building meaningful connections. Born and raised in Houston, John pursued higher education at Prairie View A&M University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture with a minor in Construction Science. During these formative years, he not only gained technical expertise but also developed a deep appreciation for teamwork, mentorship, and the power of collaboration—values that continue to guide his career and personal life.
After graduation, John dove into the workforce, where he sharpened his leadership skills and his ability to collaborate with diverse teams on a variety of projects. His commitment to growth led him to San Diego, California, where he earned a Master’s degree in Architecture from The New School of Architecture & Design. This academic chapter further honed his ability to lead, work across disciplines, and think creatively—skills that have shaped his approach to both architecture and community building.

Upon returning to Houston, John refocused on what matters most to him: his fraternity. A proud member of the Almighty Alpha Chapter of Epsilon Gamma Iota Inc., John has always believed in the power of relationships to create lasting impact. As the newly appointed Undergraduate Affairs Chair for the National Advisory Board for the 2024-26 term, he is committed to bridging the generational gap between alumni and undergraduates, fostering unity, mentorship, and a shared sense of pride in the organization. By strengthening these bonds, John hopes to inspire a new wave of service and dedication, ensuring that the values of brotherhood and sisterhood extend beyond the campus and into our everyday lives.
Whether in his professional career or his personal endeavors, John is driven by the belief that true success comes not only from individual achievement but from building and nurturing strong, supportive communities. With a unique blend of architectural expertise, leadership experience, and a deep commitment to friendship and service, John continues to work toward creating spaces and relationships that leave a positive, lasting impact on those around him.
John Nicklos II, a native Houstonian, is a graduate of the University of Houston Bauer College of Business, where he received degrees in Entrepreneurship and Marketing through The Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship. In addition to his achievements at the University of Houston, John studied Electrical Engineering at Prairie View A&M University where he worked in project management, project controls, and quality assurance for Bechtel and Boeing. And completed his Master of Science in Organizational Development and Leadership at St. Joseph's University.
He has a colorful background that includes 20 years of experience in business, leadership, sales, and operations, broadcasting in television and radio, and curriculum and instruction. He currently uses these skills and experiences to help revitalize and activate communities through entrepreneurship and economic development.
His recent works include the opening of the Innovation Hub for Student Success in the Roy G. Perry College of Engineering on the campus of Prairie View A&M University. This first-of-its-kind center serves as a space for senior engineering students to fabricate, design, and complete senior design projects. Additionally, the center provides students an opportunity to challenge, explore, and dig deeper into math and science theories they are learning in real-time.
John is the full embodiment of entrepreneurship. Challenging the status quo, radically expanding societal norms, and inspiring those around him to dream bigger, more inclusively, and without regard or measure. Through his business strategy and organizational development firm, LEAD360, John has worked with thousands of business owners helping them generate over $100 million in revenue. He has built several business training programs in and outside of Houston expanding the Black footprint in business ownership and resilient and thriving communities. Of the many companies in his portfolio of good businesses that do good work, My Degree is Black, a social enterprise changing the narrative of the HBCU experience through the eyes and stories of the alumni who attended them is the one he is most excited about. The company has just entered its first round of VC funding and has the potential to transform the way education and the economy are experienced by people of African descent. At his core, John has a heart for the community and endeavors to see Black people winning in every area of our lives.
